The food is always so good. Honestly best Chinese found anywhere. Always hot and fresh and tastes so good: nothing compares. The waiter is always so nice and helpful. Love this place ! Highly recommend going in person and enjoying Yans.

Today o had to go here haven't been here few months man it was amazing better then before thanks you yan for all hard work todays meal was amaazing

This is our favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. We used to live down the street and were here all the time. Now we come from Discovery Bay for any special occasion, or if we happen to be in the area. The service is always great and efficient. The food is consistently awesome. We haven't delved into the wine list, but it seems extensive and we've seen the owner attending to interested people several times. The ambience is nice and they have a separate bar with a TV if you're stopping in for a drink and watching a game. There is a dedicated parking lot behind the restaurant if the street parking in front is full.

Very nice and friendly service for my group of 10. Chow mein and fried rice was yummy

Solid traditional Chinese food here. Large menu. Portions are generous and fresh vegetables. They use tender white meat chicken. Service was excellent! The mu shu chicken was my favorite. Note parking lot in back

Food is always delicious...we did catering yesterday and every item hit the spot. Lamb with shitake mushrooms Asparagus Chicken Potstickers Vegetarian Fried Rice was the only item I was slightly not in love with but still good. Alex is so kind and made the ordering process simple and delivery on time. Will be going back very soon

Well, this is strange, I have been living in Walnut Creek for 16- years, this is my first time visit Yan's China Bistro. I always think it's a small place where service Americanized Chinese food. I am wrong! Parking can be a little tricky and that's the only thing I will be a little negative on the review. After finding the parking which is behind the building then there is nothing to complain about anymore. The place is very roomy. It might be an Italian restaurant before, all the decor are very nice. It has a full bar and the bar table is the old fashion one which you don't see many of this kind out there anymore. We ordered the lunch special, green bean chicken and sweet sour pork. I comes with choice of steam rice or fried rice and chicken corn soup. My son eats more so we ordered the full size Salt and pepper fish, super delicious! The service was super friendly and professional. Our water glasses always full without asking. This will be our local regular place for sure.

Finally tried this restaurant! We came on a Saturday for lunch and it wasn't busy. We were seated right away and found parking in front of the restaurant. The service was fast and attentive. They have lunch specials every day! We ordered from the lunch special menu and it was inexpensive and the portions were big. For appetizers, we had the chili oil wonton. It was not a good dish, the wonton was good but the oil it comes with wasn't. It had a runny/soup consistency. I would order it again. For our main dishes, we had the lunch special. It comes with a salad, soup, a choice of white, brown or fried rice plus the main dish. The salad we got for the lunch special comes with a really good salad dressing. It came with hot and sour soup and that was good. We went for the fried rice and I'm glad we did. It was really good! Now for the two lunch specials entrees we got Mongolian Chicken and String Bean Chicken. Both taste very similar. We loved all the sides but the main dishes for us were ok. I would like to come back and try other dishes though, maybe we just got not good ones. Overall it was good; I just wouldn't ordered the two main dishes we did.
